I have been a self proclaimed artist ever since I was six years old. Although, at the time, I would have described my self as an artithssst, due to my childhood lisp.

My six year old self is still who I aspire to be! She was courageous and creative, believing the pinnacle of existence was making mudpies under the giant azalea bush in the backyard and hunting roly-polies.

Studio Mudpie is a nod to the happiest days of my childhood and the acknowledgment of how far off course as an artist I was. We often obsess over perfection and feel unworthy, but childhood me, she was blissful and content, yet curious and vibrant.

My mission is to fall back in love with art; to go back to my roots.

Studio Mudpie is dedicated to creating real and nostalgic art that is authentic and even messy. Perfection is an illusion anyway.
